Maxson Mago & Macaulay, LLP was founded in 2017 to leverage the exceptional legal and business experience of its founding partners and the select attorneys who join the firm in a way that consistently delivers sophisticated legal services and excellent results at affordable business rates. We're intentionally branded EM³ to convey that our approach to serving our clients is unique and innovative and, by doing so, the results we achieve for our clients favorably impacts their business and growth exponentially. EM³ is lean by design, and leverages a low overhead law firm model to minimize non-value-added costs and ensure intense focus on meeting our clients legal and business needs.

Our partners are regularly retained to handle complex and sophisticated business transactions and litigation matters, throughout the United States, including our major markets of focus in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and New York.

Our business attorneys routinely handle complex corporate mergers and acquisitions, business formation and joint ventures, commercial real estate acquisitions, developments, dispositions and financings, patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret counseling and licensing, technology transactions and outsourcing, complex commercial transactions, and insurance matters, including life settlements. We also routinely act as outside general counsel to small and mid-cap companies, who choose to outsource some or all of their legal functions to our firm.

Our trial lawyers have tried hundreds of civil cases to verdicts in state and federal courts across from coast to coast, including copyright and patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement and false advertising, commercial real estate disputes, business contract and tort claims, shareholder and minority oppression claims, and employment litigation. We also handle federal and state appeals, from briefing to argument, and our attorneys have obtained several published favorable appellate decisions.
