Joseph Krcmar is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Edwards Maxson Mago & Macaulay, where his practice focuses on complex litigation and counseling clients on related issues, including commercial contractual disputes, construction and real estate law, and related regulatory issues. Mr. Krcmar also has experience in elaborate bankruptcy and financial services litigation disputes.
Prior to joining EM³, Mr. Krcmar was a partner in the Chicago office of a prominent national firm. Mr. Krcmar also previously worked in-house at one of the most respected Fortune 25 companies in the world, serving in the Commercial Litigation and Class Action Department, as well as managing an assortment of class action claims, business operations, transactional, contracts, as well as compliance issues. Mr. Krcmar also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Susan Pierson Sonderby of U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Krcmar received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign, Illinois in 2009, where he served as the managing editor of the Illinois Business Law Journal. In 2004, Mr. Krcmar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University, Indianapolis, Indiana, and as a student athlete.
